CITY CIRCLE TAKES NEOPLAN TOURLINER FLEET TO 11
Premium class coach operator, City Circle, with bases in London and Edinburgh, has taken delivery of a further five 12-metre, two-axle NEOPLAN Tourliners to bolster its tourism and corporate charter operations. City Circle now operates 11 Tourliners.
The latest additions include four 440PS engine 49-seat and one 400PS 53-seat variants. One of the vehicles is in CIE Tours livery, under contract with the United States-based tour company.
“We’re very happy with our previous experience of the Tourliner product,” said Managing Director, Neil Pegg, “build quality and reliability are both excellent. They are competitively priced and come with a four year comprehensive warranty."
“MAN’s EGR ‘Add Nothing’ technology was a significant factor for us, too,” continued Pegg, “it’s one less operational concern for us, and one less cost. Fuel is the major cost, of course, and I can report that the MANs remain very economic.” he said.
