MAN glazing deal signals clear benefits
MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd. has appointed PSV Glass as its sole aftermarket supplier
of glazing products for its MAN, NEOPLAN and Noge buses and coaches. The five-year
agreement is to be officially approved on MAN's show stand at EuroBus Expo on Wednesday
5th November at 10.45am.
PSV Glass based in High Wycombe and with Distribution Centres in Manchester and
Glasgow, is Europe's leading transport glass distributor and is well positioned
to service and support the MAN bus and coach glass aftermarket. PSV Glass can ensure
MAN bus and coach dealers, glass installation companies, and operators a rapid response
service to anywhere in the country.
Vince Welsh, Managing Director at MAN's Bus and Coach division, realises the obvious
synergies between PSV and MAN, “It makes sense for MAN and PSV to join forces,”
he said, “and we're delighted to have an association with such a leading ‘brand’
as PSV. It makes for good business sense sure, but, the benefits to bus and coach
operators are huge.”
“All authorised PSV fitters will now stock any piece of glazing for the entire range
of MAN, NEOPLAN and Noge products. Windscreens or side windows never break at a
convenient time – however, downtime will be minimised with our efficient, motivated
and well-stocked network of repairers,” he said.
